Missy
This is a letter I received from Missy's owner:
Rhonda--
Just a note to update you on Missy (your Ella). She is a true delight. I know everyone says the same thing about their dog, but having owned Shih Tzu for 19 years now I can truely say she is the smartest I have ever seen. She reminds us so much of our first Shih Tzu, Sissy. She "talks" to us all the time and comes get us when she wants to go outside---and only 7 months old tomorrow!
She also loves to play fetch--brings the ball for us to toss, recovers and brings it to our feet, ready for another go. As far as her coat goes, it is absolutely beautiful, thick, black is blacker than black and white is purest white. She tolerates the daily brushings because she loves the compliments about being so pretty.
She has two sisters now, litter mates who are 5 months old. She was really excited when they came home and all get along well. They are sweet dogs (also Shih Tzu) but not as pretty as Missy--they are tri colored and slightly smaller in size than Missy. They all play well, eat together and sleep in one big ball. Sometimes Missy decides it is time to play and she gets them all up and they go flying through the house. One day they were going from one end to the other (48 feet) and on the third trip I noticed only Missy and Lexi were on the trip. I peaked out my computer room door and noticed Baylee hiding in the butler's pantry waiting to jump them on the return trip. And she did.
So we just want to tell you we appreciate the fantastic job you do raising quality Shih Tzu for pet owners like Don and me. She has brought so much joy to our home and she really does love it here. We do hope she never catches the squirrels she chases because I know she wouldn't know what to do with one. I will send you a picture next time I can con Don into taking one.
